The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka West has successfully completed its ‘Project White Cap-2’.
The program held at Ramphura Saptabarna Biddyaniketan School in Dhaka on Thursday, September 28. This initiative by JCI Dhaka West aimed to provide IT education to underprivileged students who have been left behind by society.
During the event, a total of 60 students were awarded certificates and gifts. Md. Altamis Nabil, Vice President of JCI Bangladesh, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The program was presided over by Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman, Local President of JCI Dhaka West. Also in attendance were JCI Dhaka West’s two Vice Presidents, Md. Zahirul Islam Mohsan and S.M. Belal Uddin, as well as Md. Tanvir Hasan, Local Treasurer of JCI Dhaka West, and Ibrahim Khalil Foysal, Local Director and Project Director.
Speaking about the project, Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman, Local President of JCI Dhaka West, highlighted the significance of ‘Project White Cap-2’ as a small step toward building a smarter Bangladesh. He emphasized the importance of equipping underprivileged students with essential IT skills, much like the successful implementation of the program in the previous year.
It’s worth noting that the Junior Chamber International (JCI) is an organization for young entrepreneurs and leaders aged 18 to 40. JCI is a global network, and its headquarters are located in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Presently, JCI operates in over 120 countries, and in Bangladesh, it has more than 40 local chapters. Among these, JCI Dhaka West is the largest and oldest.
