Bangladesh Finance Limited has secured the ‘Financial Services Sector’ award for the third consecutive year, earning recognition for outstanding corporate governance excellence in 2022 from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB). The prestigious silver award was presented to Bangladesh Finance during the 10th ICSB National Award ceremony held on October 14, 2023, in Dhaka.
This recognition was part of a ceremony that honored 43 institutions and organizations in 14 different categories. Bangladesh Finance’s accolade in the ‘Financial Services Sector’ was attributed to the strength of its impartial and robust board, transparent management practices, efficient internal audit system, and unwavering commitment to social responsibility. The silver award was accepted by Managing Director & CEO Md. Kyser Hamid and Group Company Secretary Munshi Abu Naim FCS on behalf of Bangladesh Finance, with online participation by the Minister of Commerce, Tipu Munshi.
Notable figures at the event included Md. Nojibur Rahman, Chairman of Capital Market Stabilization Fund (CMSF), Tapan Kanti Ghosh, senior secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, and Mohammad Asad Ullah, the President of ICSB, all of whom extended their congratulations to Bangladesh Finance for this prestigious recognition.
