On Sunday, the first working day of the week, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) is trading on a rising price index. Most of the shares traded on DSE today remained unchanged. Shares worth Tk 449 crore 88 lakh have been traded in DSE till 10:36 am today.
According to the market analysis, the DSE main or DSEX index rose by 36 points to 6,548 points. Among other indices, DSES or Shariah Index increased by 7 points to 1,426 points and DS 30 index increased by 12 points to 2,342 points.
Shares of 336 companies and mutual funds were traded on DSE today. Among them, 129 prices increased, 43 prices decreased and 164 prices remained unchanged.
Another market, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) is trading on a rising index. Shares worth Tk 5 crore 18 lakh 58 thousand were traded in CSE today.
