Amann Bangladesh Limited is set to establish factories producing Swing thread, embroidery threads, and smart yarns in BSMSN, with a substantial investment of US$25.92 million. This initiative is expected to create job opportunities for 600 individuals.
The BSMSN, an industrial city under development, spans approximately 33,000 acres across three upazilas: Mirsarai, Sitakundu, and Sonagazi, situated in Chattogram and Feni districts. Positioned at the mouth of the River Feni, it encompasses 25 kilometers of coastline along the Sandeep channel of the Bay of Bengal. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina laid the foundation stone for this economic zone on February 28, 2016.
