Weekly Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSE, Dhaka Bourse has seen a hike in Turnover, Market Capitalization on the other hand index performed mixed. This information was disclosed in the weekly market review from the DSE.
According to sources, (5 working days) the turnover of DSE added by Tk 701 crore 81 lakh (December 10-December 14). At the same time, the market capitalization has increased by 670 crore 20 lakh 22 thousand 658 taka.
The benchmark index ‘DSEX’ added by 14.29 points or 0.29 percent, in the outgoing week. At the end of the week, the index stands at 6,266 points. The Shariah-based index ‘DSES’ added 3.93 points or 0.23 percent and therefore the index stands at 1,364 points. The blue-chip index ‘DS30’ decreased by 8.14 points or 0.38 percent, hence the index stands at 2,107 points.
Shares and units worth 2 thousand 981 crore 77 lakh taka were traded in Dhaka Stock Exchange. At the end of the week, the market capitalization stood at 7 lakh 74 thousand 578 crore 85 lakh 22 thousand 504 taka.
Shares and units of 405 companies were traded on Bourse during the week. Of these, 212 shares were unchanged, 65 companies declined, and 110 companies advanced.
Central Pharmaceuticals Limited has ranked at the top of weekly trading on DSE. It is known that 6 crore 2 lakh 87 thousand 253 shares of the company were traded throughout the week. Its market value is 142 crore 97 lakh takas.
POlympic Accessories Limited ranked at the top of weekly gainers on DSE. It is known that the share traded a total of Tk 108 crore 70 lakh, which is an average of 21 crore 74 lakh per day. The share has risen 47.29 percent to its highest price.
Bangladesh Monospool Paper Manufacturing Company Limited has ranked at the top of weekly losers on DSE. It is known the shares traded a total of Tk 8 crore 75 lakh, which is an average of 1 crore 75 lakh shares per day. The share has dropped 11.26 percent lowest in the last week.
