GP Raises Minimum Recharge Limit to Tk30 Starting Jan 10

gp

Starting January 10, Grameenphone (GP), a prominent mobile phone operator, has increased the minimum recharge limit for its prepaid customers to Tk30. The company has notified its users through SMS, stating that the change aims to enhance the minimum recharge amount for user convenience.

The SMS notification reads, “Dear customer, from 10 January, the minimum recharge amount will be Tk30. However, recharge offers below Tk30 and scratch cards can be used as before.” This adjustment follows the company’s strategy to ensure users are informed and accommodated amid the shift in recharge policies.

In addition to the SMS alert, GP users can also find a notice about the increased minimum recharge amount in the MyGP app. The notification within the app reiterates, “From 10 January, the minimum recharge amount will be Tk30.”

Previously, users could recharge a minimum amount of Tk20. The increment in the minimum recharge amount follows a prior adjustment in July 2022 when the limit was raised from Tk10 to Tk20.
