Weekly Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSE, Dhaka Bourse has seen a hike in Turnover, Indices & Market Capitalization. This information was disclosed in the weekly market review from the DSE.
According to sources, (5 working days) the turnover of DSE added by Tk 1 thousand 439 crore 39 lakh (January 14 – January 18). At the same time, the market capitalization has increased by 1 thousand 706 crore 6 lakh 30 thousand 705 taka.
The benchmark index ‘DSEX’ added by 35.06 points or 0.56 percent, in the outgoing week. At the end of the week, the index stands at 6,336 points. The Shariah-based index ‘DSES’ gained 12.37 points or 0.90 percent and therefore the index stands at 1,388 points. The blue-chip index ‘DS30’ increased by 11.80 points or 0.56 percent, hence the index stands at 2,129 points.
Shares and units worth 3 thousand 637 crore 25 lakh taka were traded in the Dhaka Stock Exchange. At the end of the week, the market capitalization stood at 7 lakh 87 thousand 904 crore 78 lakh 52 thousand 911 taka.
Shares and units of 406 companies were traded on Bourse during the week. Of these, 209 shares were unchanged, 84 companies declined, and 94 companies advanced.

Its market value is 176 crore 17 lakh takas. The company also ranked at the top of weekly gainers on DSE. FAS Finance & Investment Limited has ranked at the top of weekly losers on DSE. It is known the shares traded a total of Tk 9 crore 61 lakh, which is an average of 1 crore 92 lakh shares per day. The share has dropped 9.68 percent lowest in the last week.
