Major U.S. stock indexes continued their upward trajectory, building on gains from the previous week. A robust rally on Friday propelled the S&P 500 to surpass its previous all-time closing high set on January 3, 2022. Simultaneously, the Dow achieved a new record, surpassing a mark set just 17 days earlier. These latest gains highlight the 11th positive week out of the past 12 for the stock market.
Reviewing the U.S. Stock Markets, the Nasdaq Composite, recorded a decent gain of 145 points, reaching a closing value of 15,455 points by the end of the week. Similarly, the S&P 500 index showed a positive trend, adding 51 points to settle at 4,890 points. Meanwhile, DJIA Index experienced a notable hike, gaining by 246 points during the week and concluding at 38,109 points after a week of gain.
In contrast, Russell 3000 Index saw a gain in week performance, with a slight gain of 30 points to reach 2,803 points by the end of the week.
Moving to Russell 2000 Index, demonstrated a notable drop of 34 points, ending the week at 1,978 points.
