Weekly Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSE, Dhaka Bourse has seen a frop in Turnover, on the other hand surge in Indices & Market Capitalization. This information was disclosed in the weekly market review from the DSE.
According to sources, (5 working days) the turnover of DSE lost by Tk 1 thousand 267 crore 41 lakh (January 28 February 1). At the same time, the market capitalization has increased by 1 thousand 140 crore 83 lakh 39 thousand 622 taka.
The benchmark index ‘DSEX’ added by 57.58 points or 0.94 percent, in the outgoing week. At the end of the week, the index stands at 6,213 points. The Shariah-based index ‘DSES’ gained 10.64 points or 0.79 percent and therefore the index stands at 1,362 points. The blue-chip index ‘DS30’ decreased by 2.17 points or 0.10 percent, hence the index stands at 2,116 points.
Shares and units worth 4 thousand 584 crore 74 lakh taka were traded in Dhaka Stock Exchange. At the end of the week, the market capitalization stood at 7 lakh 56 thousand 107 crore 1 lakh 4 thousand 832 taka.
Shares and units of 407 companies were traded on Bourse during the week. Of these, 10 shares were unchanged, 175 companies declined, and 182 companies advanced.
BD Thai ALuminium Limited has ranked at the top of weekly trading on DSE. It is known that 6 crore 43 lakh 81 thousand 670 shares of the company were traded throughout the week. Its market value is 206 crore 76 lakh takas.
Khulna Printing & Packaging Limited ranked at the top of weekly gainers on DSE. It is known that the share traded a total of Tk 117 crore 31 lakh, which is an average of 23 crore 46 lakh per day. The share has risen 60.26 percent to its highest price.
Standard Ceramic Industries Limited has ranked at the top of weekly losers on DSE. It is known the shares traded a total of Tk 4 crore 22 lakh, which is an average of 84 lakh shares per day. The share has dropped 19.75 percent lowest in the last week.
