One of the Listed companies, British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited has recommended 100% Final Cash Dividend for the year ended December 31, 2023.
In terms of financial performance, The Company has further informed EPS of Tk. 33.11 for the year ended December 31, 2023. The Company has also reported NAV per share of Tk. 99.33 paisa.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company will be taking place on March 28, through the digital platform. The record date for this has been fixed at March 3.
Additionally, the company has communicated that in 2023, the marginal increase in EPS was a result of revenue growth, which, however, was offset by elevated expenses. The noteworthy rise in expenses was primarily attributed to the effects of inflation and the devaluation of the taka. The Net Asset Value (NAV) experienced an upswing owing to augmented inventory, receivables, and cash balances resulting from increased sales.
