The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Regulator has announced a 60-minute reduction in trading sessions for both stock exchanges during the month of Ramadan. While the market will commence at the usual time of 10:00 am, the closing time has been adjusted to 1:20 pm instead of the regular 2:20 pm, as revealed in a statement by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) on Thursday (7 March).
Additionally, the 10-minute post-closing session, where investors can trade securities at the closing price for the day, will now take place from 1:20 pm to 1:30 pm, shifting from the previous timing of 2:20 pm to 2:30 pm.
