DSEX Falls under 6000 Points after 33 Months Lowest Records, Stock Down 11 Days Straight

On February 27th, Tuesday, the DSEX index stood at 6272 points. However, as of March 13th, Wednesday, the DSEX points have experienced a decline to 5974 points, reflecting a decrease of 298 points over the course of 11 working days.

Of the issues traded, 112 advanced, 222 declined and 60 remained unchanged.

Asiatic Laboratories Limited ranked top gainer on DSE, the share price increased by Tk 3.20 paisa or 9.97 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 35.30 paisa.

Karnaphuli Insurance Company Limited ranked top loser on the DSE, the share price dropped by Tk 300 paisa or 5.75 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 49.20 paisa.

DSE topped on trade is Taufika Foods and Lovello Ice-cream PLC 24 crore 7 lakh takas of shares of the company have been traded.

A total of 19 companies’ shares were traded in the Block on the Dhaka Stock Exchange, 35 lakh 16 thousand 936 shares of the companies were traded. The financial value of which is 11 crore 9 lakh taka.
