Weekly Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSE, Dhaka Bourse has seen a drop in Indices, Market Capitalization & Turnover throughout the whole week. This information was disclosed in the weekly market review from the DSE.
According to sources, (4 working days) the turnover of DSE lost by Tk 9 crore 38 lakh (March 24 – March 28). At the same time, the market capitalization has decreased by 13 thousand 311 crore taka.
The benchmark index ‘DSEX’ lost by 163.34 points or 2.75 percent, in the outgoing week. At the end of the week, the index stands at 5,778 points. The Shariah-based index ‘DSES’ dropped 38.49 points or 2.98 percent and therefore the index stands at 1,254 points. The blue-chip index ‘DS30’ decreased by 46.63 points or 2.27 percent, hence the index stands at 2,011 points.
Shares and units worth 1 thousand 975 crore 75 lakh taka were traded in Dhaka Stock Exchange. At the end of the week, the market capitalization stood at 6 lakh 79 thousand 229 crore taka.
Shares and units of 411 companies were traded on Bourse during the week. Of these, 15 shares were unchanged, 343 companies declined, and 35 companies advanced.
Meghna Pet Industries Limited has ranked at the top of weekly trading on DSE. The Company records an average turnover of 28 crore 32 lakh taka.
Asiatic Laboratories Limited ranked at the top of weekly gainers on DSE. The share has risen 9.86 percent to its highest price.
Intech Limited has ranked at the top of weekly losers on DSE. The share has dropped 16.07 percent lowest in the last week.
