The Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSE rose today following a sharp decline yesterday.

Last day, the DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSE, dropped 119 points, or 1.48pc, to 6,449, the lowest since September 9.

But today, the DSEX went up 37 points, or 0.57pc, to 6,486 at 12 noon. Turnover stood at Tk 512 crore.

From the sources, 115 advanced, 45 declined and 188 remained unchanged.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange, CSE rose slightly today after a significant decline yesterday.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the bourse in the port city, gained 12 points, or 0.06pc to 19,062 at 12 noon. Turnover stood at Tk 7 crore.

On the CSE source, 51 stocks advanced, 45 fell, and 66 remained unchanged.
