Weekly Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSE, Dhaka Bourse has seen a hike in Indices & Market Capitalization. On the other hand Turnover drops throughout the whole week. This information was disclosed in the weekly market review from the DSE.
According to sources, (4 working days) the turnover of DSE dropped by Tk 338 crore 83 lakh (June 30 – July 4). At the same time, the market capitalization has increased by 9 thousand 555 crore 11 lakh taka.
The benchmark index ‘DSEX’ gained by 142.15 points or 2.65 percent, in the outgoing week. At the end of the week, the index stands at 5,497 points. The Shariah-based index ‘DSES’ hikes 25.18 points or 2.13 percent and therefore the index stands at 1,208 points. The blue-chip index ‘DS30’ increased by 28.77 points or 1.50 percent, hence the index stands at 1,951 points.
Shares and units worth 2 thousand 463 crore 30 lakh taka were traded in Dhaka Stock Exchange. At the end of the week, the market capitalization stood at 6 lakh 71 thousand 63 crore 25 lakh taka.
Shares and units of 393 companies were traded on Bourse during the week. Of these, 24 shares were unchanged, 40 companies declined, and 329 companies advanced.
Jamuna Oil Industries Limited has ranked at the top of weekly trading on DSE. The Company records an average turnover of 29 crore 95 lakh taka.
Aftab Automobiles Limited ranked at the top of weekly gainers on DSE. The share has risen 21.36 percent to its highest price.
Capitec Grameen Bank Growth Fund has ranked at the top of weekly losers on DSE. The share has dropped 10.34 percent lowest in the last week.
