Amir Hossain Amu, Awami League (AL) Advisory Council Member and spokesperson for the 14-party alliance, condemned the recent violence stemming from the quota reform movement, asserting that such actions hinder the country’s progress.
“…So everyone should stay away from such violence,” Amu stated to journalists during his visit to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) today, where he met with those injured in the recent nationwide chaos.
Amu emphasized that the 14-party alliance supports the government’s decisions to manage the current situation and is prepared to offer full support.
He expressed his wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured and assured that necessary measures are in place for their better treatment. Additionally, he pledged that the government will support the families of those who lost their lives in the violence.
