M Masrur Reaz is set to become the new chairman of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), the regulatory body overseeing the stock market. Previously, he served as an official at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and is currently the chairman of the research organization Policy Exchange.
