Farzana Lalarukh, an Associate Professor at the University of Dhaka, has been appointed as a commissioner of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC). The Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification today confirming her appointment for a four-year term.
Farzana’s salaries, allowances, and other benefits will be determined according to the terms of her agreement with the government. The appointment is effective immediately.
