Awami League General Secretary Road Transport & Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader today, 22 October, said that the government will resist any move by BNP and its rallies to create anarchy centering the Khulna rally.
“Government will not be blindfolded into the trap of BNP’s offense or violence centering Khulna rally,” Quader, told the news media after attending a program at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka.
“They want bodies to energize their movement. But we (Awami League) will not fall for their provocation,” he added.
Responding to a question, he also said the government will not take any responsibility if someone gets killed centering the rally.
