England thrashed India to reach the Final

england

Jos Buttler and Alex Hales have been on the rampage since the first ball of the England innings. They scored 63 runs in the powerplay and never took their foot off the pedal. Both players have scored half-centuries and are now threatening to make a mockery of the 169-run target that India set for them. It was Buttler who had started aggressively, but Hales took over, hitting sixes and fours for fun. As well as England now to face Pakistan in the final.

Fifties from Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya helped India recover from a wobbly start and post 168/5 against England in the second T20 World Cup semi-final on Thursday. Put in to bat, India had a slow start and lost opener KL Rahul (5) early but Kohli held the innings together to slam his fourth fifty of the tournament. But it was Pandya’s blazing knock that propelled India’s total.
