According to sources, the market capitalization of DSE dropped by Tk 2 thousand 742 crore 62 lakh 25 thousand 961 last week. At the same time, the transaction has increased by 349 crore 60 lakh 52 thousand 292 taka.
The main DSE index lost 56.90 points in the outgoing week. At the end of the week, the index stands at 6,353 points.
However, the other two indices, ‘DS30’ lost 17.02 points and ‘DSES’ 16.07 points.
Shares and units worth 5 thousand 822 crore 30 lakh 76 thousand 183 taka were traded in Dhaka Stock Exchange last week. At the end of the week, the market capitalization stood at 7 lakh 71 thousand 556 crore 2 lakh 29 thousand 787 taka.
Shares and units of 398 companies were traded on DSE during the week. Of these, 223 shares were unchanged. Only 129 companies fell, while 34 companies rose.
