DSE Bourse Index Capitalization Weekly hikes bull market

Weekly Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSE, Dhaka Bourse has seen a drop in trading on the other hand hikes in market capitalization & index.

According to sources, the market capitalization of DSE hiked by Tk 121 crore 59 lakh 73 thousand 929 last week (27 November – 1 December) At the same time, the transaction has dropped by 43 crore 31 lakh 30 thousand 976 taka.

The benchmark index ‘DSEX’ hiked 30.26 points or 0.49 percent, in the outgoing week. At the end of the week, the index stands at 6,245 points. The Shariah-based index ‘DSES’ gained 16.21 points or 1.20 percent and therefore the index stands at 1,370 points. The blue-chip index ‘DS30’ increased 26.46 points or 1.21 percent, hence the index stands at 2,216 points.

Shares and units worth 2 thousand 24 crore 64 lakh 51 thousand 506 taka were traded in Dhaka Stock Exchange last week. At the end of the week, the market capitalization stood at 7 lakh 63 thousand 747 crore 26 lakh 41 thousand 750 taka.

Shares and units of 399 companies were traded on DSE during the week. Of these, 271 shares were unchanged. 40 companies declined, while 56 companies advanced.
