According to sources, the market capitalization of DSE hiked by Tk 1 thousand 15 crore 6 lakh 6 thousand 825 last week (11 December – 15 December) At the same time, the transaction has increased by 918 crore 17 lakh 36 thousand 873 taka.
The benchmark index ‘DSEX’ rose 29 points or 0.47 percent, in the outgoing week. At the end of the week, the index stands at 6,256 points. The Shariah-based index ‘DSES’ gained 11.35 points or 0.83 percent and therefore the index stands at 1,372 points. The blue-chip index ‘DS30’ hiked 4.90 points or 0.22 percent, hence the index stands at 2,208 points.
Shares and units worth 2 thousand 455 crore 64 lakh 37 thousand 797 taka were traded in Dhaka Stock Exchange last week. At the end of the week, the market capitalization stood at 7 lakh 63 thousand 727 crore 92 lakh 21 thousand 508 taka.
Shares and units of 399 companies were traded on DSE during the week. Of these, 297 shares were unchanged. 30 companies declined, while 64 companies advanced.
