The 2023 International Trade Fair is to begin on the first day of the new year (January 1). Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the fair at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal, in Dhaka.
Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Secretary Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury gave this information on Sunday (December 25). He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the trade fair on January 1. The fair will run for a month at BBCFEC in Purbachal.
The trade fair officially started at the Purbachale permanent center from 2022. This is the 27th edition of the trade fair in Dhaka. And Purbachal is the second.
Prior, all the fairs were held at a temporary center in Sherebangla Nagar of the capital. A permanent trade fair center has been built in Purbachal with Chinese funding. From now on, the International Trade Fair will be held here every year.
