Bangladesh Former national cricket team captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza has been appointed secretary of youth and sports affairs of Awami League.
General Secretary of the party Obaidul Quader gave this information after the meeting of the new presidium of Awami League at Ganabhaban on Monday (December 26) night.
Quader told that party president Sheikh Hasina has been given the responsibility of filling two posts of the presidium, one post of editor and deputy editor, 28 member posts of the central parliament.
Obaidul Quader said that national and international politics were discussed for about three hours. The next steps of our organizational program, especially our organizational issues in view of the national elections, were discussed. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave a detailed and directional speech to the Presidium there.
