Decline in most Global Stock Indexes on the outgoing year

Global stock market passed the farewell year in decline. In Asia, the stock markets of Japan, China, Hong Kong fell throughout the year. But India’s Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), London Stock Exchange’s (FTSE 100) rose. Among European stock markets, the UK, France and Germany fell. In addition, the US stock market also ended the year in decline.

The index of Japan Stock Exchange ‘Nikkei 225’ lost 2,697 points in a year. At the end of the year, the index settled at 26 thousand 94 points.

The SSE Composite Index of China’s Shanghai Stock Exchange fell by 550.52 points during the year. At the end of the year, the index settled at 3 thousand 89 points.

Hong Kong stock exchange index ‘Hang Seng’ lost 3,616 points in 2022. At the end of the year, the index stood at 19,781 points.

India’s stock market was the opposite of Asia’s Japan, China and Hong Kong. The country’s Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) index ‘Sensex’ has increased by 2.586 points in the outgoing year. At the end of trading on Friday (December 30), the index is standing at 60,840 points. London Stock Exchange’s ‘FTSE 100’ index has gained 67.2 points this year and stands at 7,451 points.

The French stock market fell in the outgoing year. In one year, the Paris Stock Exchange index ‘CAC 40’ lost 679.27 points. At the end of the year, the index stood at 6,473 points. Germany’s ‘DAX’ index lost 1,961 points throughout the year and stands at 13,923 points.

In 2022, the US ‘Dow Jones Industrial Average Index’ lost 3,191 points and stands at 33,147 points. The Nasdaq Composite lost 5,178 points and stands at 10,466 points. And ‘S&P 500’ index lost 926.68 points, at the end of the year, the index stood at 3,839 points.
