The benchmark index DSEX hiked 7.57 points or 6,263. The Shariah-based index DSES rose 4.49 points or 1,365, and the blue-chip index DS30 increased 7.36 points or 2,211.
Of the issues traded, 34 advanced, 140 declined, and 175 remained unchanged.
Monospool Paper Manufacturing Company Limited ranked top gainer on DSE, the share price increased by Tk 20.4 paisa or 8.44 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 262.10 paisa.
On the other hand, Metro Spinning Limited ranked top loser on the DSE, the share price dropped by Tk 2.8 paisa or 5.34 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 49.60 paisa.
DSE topped on trade Genex Infosys Limited, 45 crores 65 lakh 94 thousand takas of shares of the company have been traded.
