The benchmark index DSEX dropped 27.15 points or 6,256. The Shariah-based index DSES lost 5.93 points or 1,365, and the blue-chip index DS30 shed 10.02 points or 2,225.
Of the issues traded, 11 advanced, 164 declined, and 146 remained unchanged.
Al-Haj Textile Mills Limited ranked top gainer on DSE, the share price increased by Tk 8.3 paisa or 6.27 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 140.60 paisa.
On the other hand, Eastern Housing Limited ranked top loser on the DSE, the share price dropped by Tk 7.4 paisa or 7.16 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 96.00 paisa.
DSE topped on trade Genex Infosys Limited, 38 crores 47 lakh 50 thousand takas of shares of the company have been traded.
