South Asian Stock Markets fell last week. Among them, the biggest hike was in the stock markets of India.
A review of South Asian markets shows that India’s Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) index BSE Sensex has gained 320 points during the week. At the end of the week, the index stood at 61,002 points. On the other hand, the Nifty-50 index of the country’s National Stock Exchange rose by 88 points last week. At the end of the week, the index stood at 17,944 points.
Pakistan Stock Exchange Index ‘KSE 100’ dropped 623 points last week. After a week of decline, the index settled at 41,118 points.
The Sri Lankan stock market also suffered a big fall last week. The Colombo Stock Exchange index ‘ASPI’ dropped by 131 points in a week. After a week of decline, the index settled at 8,848 points.
Bhutan’s stock market index ‘BSI’ rose by 6 points and Nepal’s ‘NEPSE’ dropped 112 points last week.
