The benchmark index DSEX hiked 17.74 points or 6,216. The Shariah-based index DSES rose 3.28 points or 1,359, and the blue-chip index DS30 gained 2.21 points or 2,220.
Of the issues traded, 106 advanced, 56 declined, and 146 remained unchanged.
Bangladesh General Insurance Company Limited ranked top gainer on DSE, the share price increased by Tk 4.4 paisa or 9.87 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 49.00 paisa.
On the other hand, Al-Haj Textile Mills Limited ranked top loser on the DSE, the share price dropped by Tk 2.5 paisa or 1.60 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 153.80 paisa.
DSE topped on trade Genex Infosys Limited 29 crores 22 lakh 30 thousand takas of shares of the company have been traded.
A total of 49 companies’ shares were traded in the Block on Dhaka Stock Exchange, 70 lakh 90 thousand 447 shares of the companies were traded. The financial value of which is 50 crore 11 lakh taka.
On the other hand, DSE-SME (Small & Medium Enterprises) Index hiked to 26.87 points which now stood at 1,014 points. The total turnover stops by the end of the day at 2 crore 10 lakh.
