Zahid Hossain, a young cinematographer of drama and telefilm, died in an unfortunate road accident.
It is discovered that he was going to Cox’s Bazar by motorcycle early on Wednesday, September 14. The accident took place on the Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar Highway at Baniachara in Chakaria at around 6 am.
Confirming the miserable news, director Gautam Kauri wrote, “The promising young cinematographer of the media industry of Bangladesh…everyone’s favorite face. In this bustling bazaar, Zahid was a very soft-spoken, somewhat shy, smiling man. This is not acceptable.”
Zahid Hossain has worked as a cinematographer in several productions including “Bhalobashar Karagor”, “Paying Ghost”, “The last hope”, among others.
