Mohammed Shahabuddin has taken oath as the 22nd President of Bangladesh today on Monday (24 April).
Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath at 11 am. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, cabinet members and hundreds of distinguished guests attended the event.
Shahbuddin succeeds Md Abdul Hamid whose second successive term ended yesterday on Sunday (23rd April)
Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain conducted the programme.
