Apex Foods Limited, a listed company on the stock market, witnessed the resignation of two directors, prompting a reorganization of its board. The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) confirmed the departures of directors Mr Mahir Ahmed and Mr Eifaj Ahmed. Consequently, the company underwent a board restructuring process.
The newly appointed Chairman of the board is Jahur Ahmed. Mrs Shawkat Ara Ahmed, the spouse of former Chairman Jafar Ahmed, and Asim Kumar Bhowmik have taken on directorial roles. Mrs. Shawkat Ara Ahmed (who holds 17.33% shares of the company), wife of former Chairman Mr. Zafar Ahmed was appointed as Director of the Company. Additionally, Tarek Nijam Uddin Ahmed has assumed the position of Independent Director.
Shahriar Ahmed continues to serve as the Managing Director of Apex Foods Limited.
