Mr. Humayun Kabir Bablu, the Director of Bengal Group of Industries, was recently honored with the prestigious Commercially Important Person (CIP) Award 2021 for Medium Category Industry by the Ministry of Industries. This esteemed award ceremony recognized 44 outstanding industrialists across various categories for their exceptional contributions to the country’s economy through the establishment of industries, job creation, and increased national revenue in 2021.
The event, graced by Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzak MP as the Chief Guest, was officiated by Zakia Sultana, Secretary of Industry of the Ministry, and attended by Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun MP, State Minister of Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder MP, Cabinet Secretary Md. Mahbub Hossain, and FBCCI President Jashim Uddin.
Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun emphasized the meticulous selection process involved in choosing the deserving recipients of the awards, expressing the government’s earnestness and sincerity in recognizing their accomplishments.
Renowned as an industrialist in Bangladesh, Mr. Humayun Kabir Bablu serves as both the Director of Bengal Group of Industries and the Managing Director of RTV. He holds positions on the Board of Directors of various well-established companies in sectors such as media, power generation, hospitality, plastics, food and beverage, and garments. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Los Angeles City College and California State University, respectively.
