In a meeting with members of the Business Russia organization, President Vladimir Putin expressed his confidence in Russia’s bright future, highlighting the country’s abundant resources.
Putin emphasized that while everyone has a future, the crucial question lies in determining the nature of that future. Putin asserted that Russia possesses a clear vision of its goals and the means to achieve them, making him optimistic about the country’s prospects. He attributed this optimism to the nation’s substantial resources, particularly its human capital.
Furthermore, the president lauded Russia’s robust education system, citing notable achievements in mathematics and engineering education. Recognizing the need for continuous development, Putin emphasized the importance of keeping pace with evolving challenges. He acknowledged the necessity of aligning educational institutions with contemporary demands to address the country’s evolving needs effectively.
During the discussion, Putin addressed Alexey Repik, Chairman of “Business Russia,” who stressed the importance of refocusing on rapidly developing markets. Putin noted that Russia had already initiated this shift well before the current situation arose. He clarified that the rapid development of these markets was primarily driven by objective factors related to global economic changes and the emergence of new global leaders. While acknowledging the ongoing process of redirecting focus, Putin clarified that it was unrelated to the current tragic events. He expressed regret that not all planned objectives had been accomplished yet but reaffirmed Russia’s proactive stance in identifying growth centers in the global economy.
