A review of South Asian markets shows that India’s Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) index BSE Sensex has gained 1,739 points during the week. At the end of the week, the index stood at 64,718 points. On the other hand, the Nifty-50 index of the country’s National Stock Exchange also increased by 524 points last week. At the end of the week, the index stood at 19,189 points.
Pakistan Stock Exchange Index ‘KSE 100’ gained 1,236 points last week. After a week of losing, the index settled at 41,326 points.
On the hand The Sri Lankan stock market dropped, the Colombo Stock Exchange index ‘ASPI’ increased by 103 points in a week. After a week the index settled at 9,442 points.
Bhutan’s stock market index ‘BSI’ remains unchanged and the index stood at 1,321 points throughout the whole week. Nepal’s ‘NEPSE’ added by 95 points last week, as the index stands at 2,150 points.
