US-Bangla Launching Dhaka-Delhi Direct Flights by July End

US-Bangla

US-Bangla Airlines is set to launch direct flights to Delhi, India’s capital, becoming its 12th international destination.

According to a press release, the airline will operate flights on the Dhaka-Delhi route four days a week, specifically on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. This new route aims to meet the long-awaited expectations of Bangladeshi tourists and travelers seeking advanced medical care and educational opportunities in Delhi’s various universities.

The decision to expand operations to Delhi is expected to further strengthen the friendly ties between Bangladesh and India. US-Bangla Airlines currently operates direct flights to Kolkata and Chennai in India, making Delhi its third direct route. As part of their future plans, the airline intends to utilize Boeing 737-800 aircraft for flights to Delhi.

The US-Bangla fleet currently consists of 19 aircraft, including 8 Boeing 737-800s, and will be augmented by the addition of two Airbus 330s by August. This expansion will allow the airline to introduce flights from Dhaka to Jeddah later this year. In addition to Chennai, Kolkata, and the new Delhi route, US-Bangla Airlines currently serves Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Male, Bangkok, and Guangzhou.
