Unfortunately, the company encountered losses in its consolidated earnings per share (EPS) throughout both periods, indicating a challenging financial performance.

During the first quarter (January-March) of 2023, International Leasing & Financial Services Limited reported a loss of Tk. 2.15 paisa per share in consolidated EPS, slightly higher than the loss of Tk. 2.11 paisa per share in the same period of the previous year (January-March 2022). Moreover, the consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share for the company was a loss of Tk. 164.39 paisa as of March 31, 2023, compared to a loss of Tk. 162.24 paisa as of March 31, 2022.

Moving on to the second quarter (January-June) of 2023, the company’s consolidated EPS continued to reflect a loss, with Tk. 2.76 paisa per share, an increase from the loss of Tk. 2.11 paisa per share in the same period of the previous year (January-June 2022). Furthermore, the consolidated NAV per share stood at a loss of Tk. 165.00 paisa as of June 30, 2023, compared to a loss of Tk. 162.24 paisa as of June 30, 2022.

These financial results indicate the ongoing challenges faced by International Leasing & Financial Services Limited during the first and second quarters of 2023. The losses in consolidated EPS and NAV per share demonstrate the difficulties the company encountered in generating profits and maintaining a positive net asset value.
