A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the Document Verification System (DVS) was recently signed between South Bengal Agriculture and Commerce (SBAC) Bank Limited and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).
Chairman of the Board of the Bank Abdul Kadir Molla and Independent Director of the Bank Ziaur Rahman Zia FCA were present at the signing ceremony.
The bank’s managing director and chief executive (ongoing duty) Habibur Rahman and president of ICAB Md. Shahadat Hossain FCA signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
Among others, Deputy Managing Director of the bank. Nurul Azim, SEVP and Head of Treasury Department Mohammad Asadul Haque, SEVP and Head of Audit Department Md. Masudur Rahman EVP FCA and Company Secretary. Mokaddes Ali FCS, EVP and head of credit department. Abdul Mannan, EVP and Head of Corporate Banking Division Asif Khan, SVP and Chief Financial Officer Mannan Bepari FCMA, Head of Card Division and SVP Mohammad Safiul Azam, Council members of ICAB and senior officials of both the organizations were present.
The agreement will enable SBAC Bank to use DVS to verify the authenticity of audited financial reports of various entities.
