After four weeks, both the S&P 500 and NASDAQ managed to secure gains, but the Dow closed in negative territory once again, albeit with only a slight dip. Remarkably, the NASDAQ outperformed other indices significantly, even though it faced a nearly 2% drop on Thursday.
Reviewing the US Stock Markets, the Nasdaq Composite, recorded a decent gain of 441 points, reaching a closing value of 14,031 points by the end of the week. Similarly, the S&P 500 index showed a positive trend, adding 110 points to settle at 4,515 points. Meanwhile, DJIA Index experienced a notable gain, adding by 491 points during the week and concluding at 34,837 points after a week of gains.
In contrast, Russell 3000 Index saw a gain in week performance, with a hike of 69 points to reach 2,595 points by the end of the week.
Moving to Russell 2000 Index, demonstrated a notable hike of 67 points, ending the week at a steady 1,920 points.
