Weekly Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSE, Dhaka Bourse has seen a hike in Turnover, Market Capitalization on the other hadn Index Performed Mixed. This information was disclosed in the weekly market review from the DSE.
According to sources, (4 working days) the turnover of DSE hiked by Tk 394 crore 9 lakh (3 September – 7 September). At the same time, the market capitalization has also gained by 372 crore 39 lakh 32 thousand 280 taka.
The benchmark index ‘DSEX’ added by 7.59 points or 0.12 percent, in the outgoing week. At the end of the week, the index stands at 6,307 points. The Shariah-based index ‘DSES’ lost 3.33 points or 0.24 percent and therefore the index stands at 1,369 points. The blue-chip index ‘DS30’ decreased by 4.51 points or 0.21 percent, hence the index stands at 2,137 points.
Shares and units worth 2 thousand 622 crore 80 lakh taka were traded in Dhaka Stock Exchange. At the end of the week, the market capitalization stood at 7 lakh 76 thousand 430 crore 3 lakh 11 thousand 48 taka.
Shares and units of 403 companies were traded on Bourse during the week. Of these, 223 shares were unchanged, 78 companies declined, and 82 companies advanced.
Fu Wang Foods Limited has ranked at the top of weekly trading on DSE. It is known that 5 crore 73 lakh 84 thousand 816 shares of the company were traded throughout the week. Its market value is 239 crore 97 lakh takas.
Eastern Insurance Company Limited has ranked at the top of weekly gainers on DSE. It is known that the share traded a total of Tk 35 crore 23 lakh, which is an average of 8 crore 80 lakh per day. The share has risen 29.24 to its highest price.
Khan Brothers PP Woven Bag Industries Limited has ranked at the top of weekly losers on DSE. It is known the share traded a total of Tk 59 crore 20 lakh, which is an average of 14 crore 80 lakh shares per day. The share has dropped 12.01 percent lowest in the last week.
