Weekly Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSE, Dhaka Bourse has seen a hike in Turnover, on the other hand Market Capitalization, Index Drops. This information was disclosed in the weekly market review from the DSE.
According to sources, (5 working days) the turnover of DSE hiked by Tk 241 crore 59 lakh (10 September – 14 September). At the same time, the market capitalization has dropped by 496 crore 73 lakh 34 thousand 160 taka.
The benchmark index ‘DSEX’ dropped by 5.05 points or 0.08 percent, in the outgoing week. At the end of the week, the index stands at 6,302 points. The Shariah-based index ‘DSES’ lost 8.61 points or 0.63 percent and therefore the index stands at 1,360 points. The blue-chip index ‘DS30’ decreased by 2.53 points or 0.12 percent, hence the index stands at 2,134 points.
Shares and units worth 2 thousand 864 crore 40 lakh taka were traded in Dhaka Stock Exchange. At the end of the week, the market capitalization stood at 7 lakh 75 thousand 933 crore 29 lakh 76 thousand 888 taka.
Shares and units of 403 companies were traded on Bourse during the week. Of these, 204 shares were unchanged, 99 companies declined, and 66 companies advanced.
Fu Wang Foods Limited has ranked at the top of weekly trading on DSE. It is known that 5 crore 62 lakh 67 thousand 732 shares of the company were traded throughout the week. Its market value is 210 crore 55 lakh takas.
Crystal Insurance Company Limited has ranked at the top of weekly gainers on DSE. It is known that the share traded a total of Tk 57 crore 70 lakh, which is an average of 11 crore 54 lakh per day. The share has risen 36.97 to its highest price.
Legacy Footwear Limited has ranked at the top of weekly losers on DSE. It is known the share traded a total of Tk 44 crore 40 lakh, which is an average of 8 crore 88 lakh shares per day. The share has dropped 21.44 percent lowest in the last week.
