Today is the Maha Saptami of Sharadiya Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of Sanatana Dharma followers. Various rituals of Saptami are going on in Mandaps.
The ceremony of Saptami begins with entering and replacing the new paper and is decorated with 9 plants to overcome food crisis. After that, life was established in the idol of Trinayani Devi Durga through the donation of eyes.
Devotees worship the Goddess with seats, clothes, offerings, baths, garlands, sandalwood, incense and lamps. They started the day by fasting and drinking charanamrit with flower anjali on mother’s feet. Devotee’s prayers to Mother, a world of peace free from war and idolatry.
