He referred to their important consensus reached during their August meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa, and expressed the expectation that both countries would continue to implement this consensus. President Xi called for enhanced political mutual trust, promotion of traditional friendship, alignment of development strategies, and the advancement of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
