The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rain or thunder showers with temporary gusty or squally winds in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions within the next 24 hours starting from 9 am on Saturday.
According to the BMD, “Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds are expected at one or two places across Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.”
Elsewhere in the country, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies.
The day and night temperatures are anticipated to rise slightly across the country, as stated by the BMD.
On Friday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius in Mongla, Khulna.
