The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has issued a forecast today, indicating the continuation of a mild to moderate heat wave across several divisions, including Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet. This heat wave is expected to persist over the next 24 hours starting from 9 am today.
According to the weather bulletin, the weather is likely to remain predominantly dry with occasional partly cloudy skies across the country. Daytime temperatures may experience a slight increase, while nighttime temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable.
On Friday, the maximum temperature recorded in the country was 39.0 degrees Celsius in Rangamati, while the minimum temperature today was 19.5 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.
