Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said she wants to sit with the quota reform protesters.
“The doors of Ganobhaban are open. I want to sit with the quota reform protesters,” she said during a meeting with the central leaders of Peshajibi Somonnoy Parishad (Professionals Coordination Council).
“I want to listen to them. I do not want conflict,” she added.
During the meeting, the PM also announced the cancellation of the proposed pension scheme for universities, and autonomous and state-owned organisations.
