The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted light to moderate and moderately heavy to heavy rainfall, along with thundershowers and temporary gusty winds, across all eight divisions in the next 24 hours starting from 9 am today.
According to the weather bulletin issued this morning, “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at various locations.”
Day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.
On Friday, the highest temperature recorded in the country was 34.0 degrees Celsius in Tetulia, while the lowest temperature today was 24.6 degrees Celsius, recorded jointly in Tangail, Tarash, and Bandarban.
Feni experienced significant rainfall, recording 231 mm in the last 24 hours commencing at 6 am today.
