In August 2023, the general point-to-point inflation rate in Bangladesh rose to 9.92 percent, marking an increase from the 9.69 percent recorded in July 2023. Conversely, the non-food inflation rate dropped to 7.95 percent in August, down from 9.47 percent in July.
