Dhaka Stock Exchange DSE, Bourses on the last working day of the week, February 16, ended with price index & turnover drops.

340 crores 33 lakh shares were traded in DSE on this day. 91 crores 16 lakhs less trading was done in DSE today compared to the previous workday, 15 February, Shares worth Tk 431 crores 49 lakh shares were traded in DSE last time, Wednesday.

The benchmark index DSEX hiked 1.18 points or 6,246. The Shariah-based index DSES shed 0.22points or 1,366, and the blue-chip index DS30 gained 2.17 points or 2,224.

Of the issues traded, 41 advanced, 122 declined, and 145 remained unchanged.

ICB AMCL CMSF Golden Jubilee Mutual Fund ranked top gainer on DSE, the share price increased by Tk 0.66 paisa or 8.70 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 7.50 paisa.

On the other hand,

Al-Haj Textile Mills Limited ranked top loser on the DSE, the share price dropped by Tk 3.90 paisa or 2.50 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 152.30 paisa.

DSE topped on trade Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, 45 crores 75 lakh takas of shares of the company have been traded.

A total of 49 companies’ shares were traded in the Block on Dhaka Stock Exchange, 44 lakh 58 thousand 637 shares of the companies were traded. The financial value of which is 30 crore 89 lakh taka.

On the other hand, DSE-SME (Small & Medium Enterprises) Index dropped to 11.35 points which now stood at 1,070 points. The total turnover stops by the end of the day at 1 crore 4 lakh.

ATB (Alternate Trading Board) Platform, LankaBangla Securities Limited turnover stood at 72 lakh 93 thousand.

Index Agro Industries Limited ranked top gainer on DSE, the share price increased by Tk 5.80 paisa or 9.73 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 65.40 paisa.

Unilever Consumer Care Limited ranked top loser on the DSE, the share price dropped by Tk 64.100 paisa or 3 percent. On this day, the share was last traded at Tk 2,076.00 paisa.

DSE topped on trade is Unilever Consumer Care Limited 33 crore 56 lakh takas of company shares have been traded.
